Giveaway Winner

Selamat malam minggu.

xoxo,
Nina

Giveaway

Jadi, tiba-tiba aja tadi pingin bikin giveaway. Agak random memang. Well, atau sebenernya emang selalu  random kali ya.

Well, sesukanya aja lah :D

Jawabannya dikirim ke email: nina.ardianti@gmail.com dengan subject GIVEAWAY paling lama Kamis, 13 September 2012 pukul 16.30 waktu Jakarta ya. Pemenangnya diumumin malamnya. Dengan catatan saya nggak lagi banyak kerjaan kantor yang berakibat saya disuruh lembur, hehehe...

Wokaaayy, buat yang mau berpartisipasi, makasih banyak yaaa... Kalau responnya lumayan, nanti saya buat lagi giveaway berikutnya.

xoxo,
Nina

Turn Left, Turn Right

Few days ago, my best friend told me that she just watched a movie on HBO titled Turn Left, Turn Right—starred by the heartthrob Takeshi Kaneshiro. She said the plot, the story is similar to my book, Fly to the Sky. She said I should watch it, since she knows that I’m a diehard romantic. Well, even though I might not like the movie, hey—at least I still can drool over Takeshi Kaneshiro.

This is the movie poster:

Fly to the Sky’s main story is simple. Boy meets girl, girl meets boy, they like each other, separated, looked for each other (desperately), and eventually they’ll meet again. I think it’s a common plot and twist, so I’m pretty sure there are so many people have been retelling the story.

The most famous one, is Serendipity (2001, John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale) and then I found this another version of fate-is-playing-hard-games-to-them. But you know, no matter how many times the story have been retold, but every story has its own charms, unique, and engaging. This one is no exception.

Turn Left, Turn Right set in urban Taipei with Kaneshiro as John Liu and the sweet cute Gigi Leung as Eve Choi. They live in shoebox apartment next to each other, on the same block, divided by tiny walls and separated entrance, without knowing each other. And they’ve never met. Everytime he leaves the building, he turns right and everytime she leaves the building (using another entrance, but next to his), she turns left. They’re leading parallel lives, but cross each other’s paths regularly.

How do you know they’re perfect for each other?

Well, we know. Since that the reason why this movie be made. They will be together, eventually. But their journey is what matters.

I suggest you to watch this movie. So sweet and touchy. Yeah, as we all know, I am a weepy person, while watching their effort to meet each other, I wept a lot.

So, it’s right that

If two people are meant for each other, it doesn’t mean they have to be together right now or as soon as possible, but they will… eventually.

Have you been finally together with the person that you’re meant to be with?
